Your use of the site

Should you be found to be abusing the site, or in anyway comprimising the site you may be issued with a warning or even blocked from using the site.

Information we may collect about you, the way you use the site and computer settings

When you use the site, even view the homepage we may collect data about your usage of the site without you doing anything to promt this. This information is typically how long you spend on the page; where you go to next; and your computer settings. This helps us then understand how people use the site and develope it further. On somepages you will notice you can see how many times you have viewed that article/page and more information about your usage. This information is gathered using your IP address to track how you use the site, and a time stamp is recorded as well when you loads pages - this is then stored and is used to give you a personalised experience when you come back to the site again. We do not share this information with any other company or any other third parties. Additionally should you contact us we will keep a copy of that correspondence for reference.

IP Addresses and 'cookies'

As mentioned above, we may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us:

* To store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise our site according to your individual interests.

Our responsibility to protect you.

We, Pinewood Judo Club, will always do our very best to make sure that our site is safe and secure, however regrettably Pinewood Judo Club, or anyone associated with the club or website is unable to accept any form of loss incurred through the use of the site in anyway. The site is provided 'as-is', without any guarantee. For your own safety while browsing this site and any other on the internet please exercise common sense, and use a fully up-to-date Antivirus software.

Use of images and photos on the site

1 - Save guarding. We take a lot of care to safe guard children and because of this all photo's on the site are checked to ensure they are suitable; however should you for any reason have concerns over an image please email contact@pinewoodjudo.com or use the online contact form. Please remember to include the URL of the webpage and a detailed description of the image (so we can check it's the right one we're checking) and why you think it should be removed. Please note; we cannot remove photos from the site due to 'simply not looking good'. We take privacy very seriously and will respond to any queries as soon as possible.
2 - Use of our logo. We are happy to allow use of our logo from press and publication uses, however the logo must always remain the same and editing (apart from resizing which is allowed) is not allowed. At no point can the logo be used in conjunction with any article or piece of media on any platform which is seen to be derogatory towards the club, website or anyone associated with either of these two. We always like to know how the logo is being used so please feel free to let us know by email contact@pinewoodjudo.com.

If you beleive your copyrighted material is on the site, firstly we apologise sincerly and will invesitgate all copyright infringements. Due to the nature or the site there is a 7 day leway policy in force. This means that we, Pinewood Judo Club, withhold the right to take upto 7 days to respond to any copyright infringement claim without being held responisble for further liability against the subject material. In order for you to comply when reporting copyright material it is required that you get in contact via 2 differnet communication channels, for example email or writing a letter or calling the club.

The site has been carefully crafted and designed by Tim Baker, who remains the sole copyright holder and owner of the design and all files on the site, excluding photo's or other material where stated.
