Last week a group of Pinewood juniors attended the Micklefield Red & Yellow belt tournament which was held at High Wycombe Judo Centre.
For many of these children this was their first competition and whilst competitions at this point in their judo careers are more about gaining experience their coach was very happy with the standard of their performance and the medal haul.

Last Sunday Noah and his brother Callum Jones traveled with Tobias Chapman
all the way to the North East to take part in the Goole Invitational Open.
Each of them made the return journey worthwhile for their parents with Noah winning Gold at U30kg. His brother Callum not to be outdone took a Gold in his weight at U34kg and then accepted an invitation to fight up a weight group at U42kg where he finished in 3rd position.
Tobias Chapman battled his way through a tough group to a Bronze medal at U27kg.
